The Farm to Fiber Festival takes place September 11, 2021 at Hubbard County Fairgrounds, Park Rapids, MN. The festival celebrates the fiber heritage of northern Minnesota while showcasing local fiber producers and artists. Come join us for a fun, fiber-filled day, shop for yarns, fiber or art, watch or join our informal Fashion show, enjoy the beautiful northern Minnesota countryside and meet the farmers who produce the fibers that make our clothing, arts and crafts possible.
This festival is part of a larger endeavor to revitalize the sheep and fiber industry in northern Minnesota. The Sustainable Sheep and Fiber Community of Northern Minnesota includes the Farm to Fiber Festival in the Fall and the Small Scale Sustainable Sheep Farming Event third Saturday in February yearly. Both events are made possible in part by grants from Northwest Minnesota Foundation and Northwest Regional Sustainable Development Partnership.
