Introduction to Entrelac Knitting: $45

Learn the secrets to perfectly constructed Entrelac Knitting that looks as good from the back as it does from the front. We will cover knitting without turning your work, picking up stitches to make invisible joins, and the easy decrease for a perfect connection. We will start with a simple scarf pattern with a base row of triangles and then work through right and left leaning rectangles and the edge triangles.
Skill Level: Basic knitting skills required.
Materials: Students should bring enough yarn to make a simple scarf with needles to match the yarn. The instructional pattern will be provided by the instructor.

Using Natural Dyes on Wool: $85 (for full day)

Learn how to prepare yarns and fiber to dye, what mordants are and how to use them and how to prepare and use several natural dyes for dyeing wool.
Skill level: None
Materials: $20 fee includes yarn, dyeing and handout. Students should wear clothing they can get dirty and bring their enthusiasm.
