12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Needle Felting on a Background.  $22/student

​Workshop Description:  ​
In this  needle felting class you will use templates to felt a basic form on a fabric background, then use colored wool to add depth and detail.  For creating a wet-felted background, see Saturday a.m. workshop on wet felting by Candace Osborn.
Skill level:  Beginner
Materials Fee:  None.  $2 fee for each broken needle.
Age Limit:  11 and up
Class size limit:  Minimum 3, maximum 10.​

Workshop Start Time:  1 p.m.
Description: Lecture (with help from the audience) on Spinning as referenced in Western Folklore and Fairy Tales.  

Students should bring:  Listening ears and good questions

Minimum Age: 6 (with exceptions)

2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Needle Felting a 3D Pumpkin.  $22/student

​Workshop Description:  
A 3-D pumpkin/jack-o-lantern can be formed with a ball of core wool shaped with felting needles.  Colored wool is added and used to give detail along with modeling with the needles.  A face can be added if you want to “carve” a jack-o-lantern.
Skill level:  Beginner
Materials Fee:  None.  $2 fee for each broken needle.  
Age Limit:  11 and up
Class size limit:  Minimum 3, maximum 10.​
