Workshop Description: Wet felting a small project lets you get a feel for how wool can be blended into unique fabrics, which can be further shaped, cut, and added to. The landscape project allows you to choose colors for sky, land, and any masses that would provide a background for further work or just to enjoy on its own. It has the look of watercolor. 10 a.m. to Noon: Anatomy of a Sock: $30 each for those attending or observing

In this class you will learn how to knit a heel flap, turn a heel, work the gusset and shape the toe of your sock. Finishing your toe using the Kitchener stitch. Skill Level: This is a intermediate class. Handouts, Yarn and stitch marker will be provided Note: Students need to know how to Knit and Purl. This class can be participated or observed. Students should bring: A set of 5 double Points needles Size US # 2. (Needles will be on hand for purchase) Age limit: 16 and up Class size limit: 8 |
