Saturday A.M. 

9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wet Felting Small Landscapes.  $22/person

​Workshop Description:  ​Wet felting a small project lets you get a feel for how wool can be blended into unique fabrics, which can be further shaped, cut, and added to.  The landscape project allows you to choose colors for sky, land, and any masses that would provide a background for further work or just to enjoy on its own.  It has the look of watercolor.  To learn how to embellish with needle felting, please see the 2 p.m. workshop on Needle Felting on a Background.
Skill level:  Beginner

Materials Fee:  None
Age Limit:  11 and up
Class size limit:  Minimum 3, maximum 10.

10 a.m. to Noon:  Anatomy of a Sock:  $30 each for those attending or observing

Saturday Start time: 10:00 am to Noon
Workshop Description:  Learn the Anatomy of a knitted sock "Top to Toe". In this class you will learn how to knit a heel flap, turn a heel, work the gusset and shape the toe of your sock. Finishing your toe using the Kitchener stitch.
Skill Level: This is a intermediate class.
Handouts, Yarn and stitch marker  will be provided
Note: Students need to know how to Knit and Purl.
This class can be participated or observed.
Students should bring:  A set of 5 double Points needles Size US # 2.  (Needles will be on hand for purchase) 
Age limit: 16 and up
Class size limit: 8

​Workshop Description: The flower/butterfly class lets you choose your colors, wet felt your piece, then cut and modify it.  Needle felting and embroidery are great ways to embellish your work.  They can be used to make pins, decorations for planters, magnets- whatever you can think of.
Skill level:  Beginner

Class size limit:  Minimum 3, maximum 10.
